Kent Juniors Make Great Britain Squad
Kent Ultimate are delighted to announce that four of our juniors have been selected for their respective national squads this summer in Vancouver for the
WFDF 2008 World Ultimate & Guts Championships.
Josh Coxon Kelly,
Leo Morgan and
Sam Vile will be representing the Under 19s Junior Open squad.
Charlie Blair has been selected for the Under 19s Girls squad.
This represents a huge achievement for all four juniors, and we are delighted to be sending them off to Canada to represent their country.
One other junior,
Rob Green, was hoping to join them, but was forced to pull out of the selection weekends after picking up a shoulder injury. It is a real shame, because he is one of the key players (now that he is all healed) for Kent Open's first team, and has the speed and agility to make an impact on the international stage.
