Sam was born in California in the 1950's. Finding himself in Canterbury in 2007, and still too young to buy alcohol is a matter of some confusion for poor Sam. We enjoy the laid-back Californian style Sam brings to the team, but secretly we're mostly waiting for the Californian girls that will surely follow.

Don't let his west coast surfer-dude hair and longboard confuse you; on the pitch he'll run rings around you, lay out through you, and do whatever it takes to get the disc. Recently voted junior captain for the second year in succession, Sam is a really solid player, and is keen to pass on his new-found skills to the next generation of Kent juniors. Let's hope that Sam's cries for help remain unanswered, and he never makes it back to his spiritual home.

Sam will be representing Great Britain in Vancouver this August.
